Are Our Kids at Risk?
Indoor air related illnesses have reached epidemic levels in the U.S. in recent years, partly due to the air-tight homes being constructed in response to rising energy costs.  Unfortunately, in solving one problem, we have created another.
The story below illustrates this ...

The hardest part for two-year-old Lakin’s mother, Janell, was watching her little girl cough. And cough. And cough. And not be able to do anything about it, not being able to make the suffering go away.

“It was continuous,” explained Janell. “She coughed every day, all day. The only relief I could give her was to administer breathing treatments four to six times daily.”

Lakin’s asthma had sent her to the doctor’s office two to three times per week. Over a four week period, out of pocket expense for medicine and doctor’s visits added up to about five hundred dollars, according to Janell.

The doctor suggested that perhaps purifying the air of mold, dust mites and other pollutants might help. So, Janell began looking into possible solutions.

A friend suggested trying an air purifier that utilizes a special EPA registered technology to simulate what nature itself does to purify air during a thunderstorm.

By combining two different types of ionization along with activated oxygen to purify the indoor air, a very positive outcome occurs … the indoor air is purified just like after a thunderstorm. This effect is referred to as the “Thunderstorm Effect” -- but without the noise!

Janell decided to try it out. The result is that her daughter for the past two and a half months has not had to have the breathing treatments (that used to be administered 4 to 6 times daily). “She simply hasn’t been coughing,” explained Janell.
